Eiffel Tower
New York, London, and Paris are all vying for the 2012 Olympic Games. Paris was particularly nuts about it. Their little "Paris 2012 Ville Candidate" signs were all over government buildings, flags flying in touristy spots, and as noted in this picture, on the Eiffel Tower.
They can have it as far as I'm concerned. It just costs too much to "guarantee safety" these days.

This is just how I love to see the Eiffel Tower and the rest of Paris...from the ground looking up! Wish we could have been there with you but you didn't invite us!
I just don't understand why!!
